The Minister of Infrastructure in the Citytunnel
The Minister of Infrastructure, Åsa Torstensson, visited the Citytunnel on Monday evening.
"The Citytunnel is a very interesting project", said the Minister who was there to witness when the tunnel bore machine Katrin assembled a tunnel ring.

The Minister of Infrastructure, Åsa Torstensson, was briefed by project manager Örjan Larsson. After that she went on a ride with MCG’s work train that took the minister to the tunnel bore machine Katrin that is presently boring under Fersens väg. During the visit, that lasted just under one hour, Katrin managed to bore about two metres and assemble one tunnel ring.
"It is very interesting for me to visit the Citytunnel. A project that is keeping both the time table and the budget", said Åsa Torstensson.
The Minister’s visit to the Citytunnel finished a whole day in Skåne. Earlier in the day she took part in a meeting at Logistikforum in Lund where freight transportation on roads and railways in Europe was discussed.
