Connecting tracks at Lockarp
The connecting track from the Öresund line will connect at Lockarp with the Ystad line and to the Continental line southwards to Trelleborg.

An approximately 85-metre tunnel under the motorway was built concurrently with the building of the Öresund connection. The railway will then go in the cutting under Arrievägen. This is a single track but is prepared for expansion to a twin track. The track splits at Lockarp village. One section passes at gradeseparated below the Continental line and connects to the Ystad line. The other track connects to the Continental line towards Trelleborg.
A path and a cycle track under the Continental line is constructed at Lockarp as well as a road bridge for Larsbovägen. A bridge will be built for Arrievägen which will be raised 2 metres to provide room for the connecting track. The track will run approximately 6 metres below ground level.
Lockarp village will be affected by the track connection that is built for the connecting track towards Trelleborg. Lockarps Kyrkoväg will be cut off and closed at the crossing of the Continental line. Road traffic will be moved to the new route 101 that Malmö city has built east of Lockarp.
