RIO RANCHO, N.M. The moves being taught at G3 Combatives Training Center in Rio Rancho aren’t ones you’d ever want to use in a real-life situation. Grijalva teaches people how they can protect themselves and said if someone enters your home, you have to be prepared to think on your feet.

On Friday afternoon a man accused of brutally raping a 60-year-old woman faced a judge, who ruled that he stay behind bars without bond partly due to the fact he’s been arrested half a dozen times in just two years. It wasn’t 22-year-old Charles Taylor’s first time in handcuffs, but Friday was his initial court appearance for his most recent allegations.
